The same is true in our spiritual lives.
The Breastplate of Righteousness protects the heart. While the world focuses on appearances, God looks at what is happening inside us. When we choose to walk in obedience to Christ, we protect our hearts from the damage that sin can cause.
Righteousness is not about being perfect. It is about faithfully following God and allowing Him to shape our lives according to His Word.
When your heart is guarded by righteousness, you can travel life’s roads with confidence and peace.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your righteousness and for the protection You provide. Help me guard my heart from anything that would pull me away from You. Give me the strength to walk in obedience, honor You in my daily decisions, and reflect Christ in both my words and actions.
