Standing on the Promises of God

The Promise of God’s Presence

๐Ÿ“– Scripture

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said,

I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Hebrews 13:5 (KJV)

โœจ Devotion

One of God’s most comforting promises is that He will never leave His children. No matter where life takes us, His presence goes with us every step of the way.

There are days when the road feels lonely. Long hours behind the wheel, time away from family, difficult circumstances, and unexpected challenges can make us feel isolated. Yet God’s promise is not based on our feelingsโ€”it is based on His unchanging character. He has said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Throughout Scripture, God continually reminded His people that His presence was with them. He walked with Joshua as he entered the Promised Land, stood beside Daniel in the lions’ den, and was with Paul through imprisonment and persecution. The same faithful God is still present with His people today.

As truck drivers, there are roads we travel where there seems to be nothing around for miles. But even on the most isolated highway, you are never alone if you belong to Christ. Whether you’re driving through the mountains, crossing the plains, sitting at a truck stop, or facing one of life’s hardest moments, God’s presence never departs from His children. His promise isn’t that the journey will always be easy. His promise is that He will be with you through it all.

๐Ÿš› Today’s Promise

No matter where today’s road leads, you never travel alone. God’s presence is with every believer, and He has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
