Just as a truck driver secures a load before hitting the road, a Christian must secure his life with truth before facing the day.
A loose strap can allow a load to shift and create danger. In the same way, when we build our lives on opinions, emotions, or the world’s ideas instead of God’s truth, we become vulnerable to deception.
The Belt of Truth holds everything together.
God’s Word provides direction when life becomes confusing, stability when circumstances change, and discernment when false teachings appear.
Before you start your day, make sure your life is secured by the truth of God’s Word.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for giving us Your Word as our source of truth. Help me build my life upon what You say rather than what the world says. Guard me from deception and give me discernment to recognize truth from error. Help me secure my heart and mind with Your Word each day.
