Find a TMI Location
Truckstop Ministries operates a network of ministry locations at truck stops across the country.
Use TMI’s official locator to find a chapel or ministry location along your route.
Ministry schedules, staffing, and meeting locations vary by truck stop. Check the individual
TMI location information when planning a visit.
Trucker Information
TMI is built around the realities of life behind the wheel. Its ministry locations are placed
where drivers already stop, making Christian fellowship and encouragement easier to reach
while traveling.
Located at Truck Stops
TMI brings ministry directly into the trucking environment. Drivers can attend fellowship
and receive ministry without trying to maneuver a tractor-trailer onto unfamiliar church property.
Where Meetings Happen
Some locations have freestanding chapels on truck-stop property. Others meet inside the
truck stop in TV lounges, meeting rooms, restaurants, quiet rooms, theaters, or other
designated spaces.
Fellowship & Ministry
Depending on the location, drivers may find scheduled fellowship meetings, Bible teaching,
prayer, personal encouragement, Christian literature, and chaplains or ministry workers
available to talk.
Staffing Can Change
Some TMI locations may temporarily be between chaplains or ministry teams.
That does not necessarily mean TMI has left the truck-stop location permanently.

Prayer & Support
Life on the road can get heavy. Truckstop Ministries provides a national prayer line for
drivers who need prayer, encouragement, or someone to stand with them in faith.

10:20 Prayer Impact
In trucking, your “10-20” means your location. TMI encourages drivers and supporters
to pause at 10:20 AM and/or 10:20 PM and pray for truckers, their families, chaplains,
and the ministry taking place along America’s highways.
About Truckstop Ministries
Truckstop Ministries, Inc. was founded in March 1981 by Joe and Jan Hunter.
The Georgia-based nonprofit ministry was built around a simple mission: reach truck drivers
with the Gospel of Jesus Christ where they already live and work — on America’s highways
and at its truck stops.
TMI works through chaplains, volunteers, churches, missionary drivers, ministry workers,
and Christian supporters to provide fellowship, prayer, biblical teaching, personal ministry,
and Gospel outreach throughout the trucking community.
Beliefs
Truckstop Ministries is a Bible-based Christian ministry centered on the Gospel
of Jesus Christ and the authority of God’s Word.
TMI affirms the Bible as the infallible Word of God; the Trinity — Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
the virgin birth of Jesus Christ; His death on the cross and bodily resurrection; and salvation
through repentance and accepting Jesus Christ as Savior.
The ministry also affirms the work and power of the Holy Spirit, water baptism by immersion,
prayer for the sick and healing, Christ’s return, and eternal accountability before God.
