Trucker Information
On-Site Bobtail Parking
TO4C personally parked a bobtail in the church lot during Sunday worship.
Based on the visit, the property appears capable of accommodating approximately
four additional bobtails, depending on normal Sunday attendance and parking conditions.
Sunday Parking — LaGondola
LaGondola Spaghetti House
834 S 12th St
Quincy, IL 62301
The restaurant is directly across the street from Bethel and is
closed on Sundays.
A Bethel minister advised TO4C that trucks may use the restaurant parking lot on Sundays while the restaurant is closed.
Drivers pulling trailers should use appropriate judgment when entering the lot and keep entrances and surrounding traffic lanes clear.
TO4C Visit Notes
TO4C personally attended Bethel Assembly of God and spoke with members of the pastoral team
and congregation. The church was very welcoming to visitors, with pastors and members actively
engaging newcomers and creating a comfortable atmosphere for someone attending for the first time.
Beliefs
Bethel is an Assemblies of God Pentecostal church committed to biblical teaching,
prayer, discipleship and sharing the message of Jesus.
The Assemblies of God affirms one God eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
the divine inspiration and authority of Scripture, and salvation through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
The church practices water baptism by immersion and Communion and teaches the baptism in the Holy Spirit
as an experience distinct from and subsequent to salvation.
Assemblies of God teaching identifies speaking in tongues as the initial physical evidence
of baptism in the Holy Spirit and affirms divine healing as part of the gospel.
Bethel also shares the Assemblies of God belief in Christ’s return, resurrection and final judgment.
